Positive Based Interventions and Support

Williams Intermediate Positive Solving Process

What is PBIS?

PBIS is an ongoing problem-solving process based on research that creates positive behaviors while reducing behavioral disruptions. It is a whole-school approach with the goal of preventing behavior problems instead of reacting to them. Our PBIS team is trained through the Davenport Community School District.

Our Expectations

We use set procedures and common language to teach and reinforce our expected behaviors. By using data, we address problem behaviors and develop solutions. With PBIS we teach our students expected behaviors instead of punishing.
